Privacy Policy

1. Data we process

Account data: name, email, phone, country and password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider).

Data from connected platforms: with your authorization, we access your own Mercado Libre and Tiendanube accounts (listings, orders, stock, questions, messages, claims, billing and advertising). We store access permissions (tokens) securely, never your passwords for those platforms.

Your buyers' data: orders include your buyers' names, shipping addresses and messages. We process this data only on your behalf, to show it to you and operate your sales. You remain the controller of that data towards your customers.

Payment data: processed by Dodo Payments. TrueSeller never sees or stores your card details.

Technical data: usage logs needed for security and operation of the service.

2. How we use it

To provide the service (show your sales, sync stock, run the automations you configure), send notifications you requested (e.g. stock alerts), provide support, manage your subscription, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we do not sell it.

3. Service providers

We use providers that process data on our behalf, such as database, hosting, AI text generation (only the content needed for each response is sent) and email delivery services, and Dodo Payments for payments. We also exchange data with Mercado Libre and Tiendanube through their official APIs. Some providers are located outside your country; we only work with providers offering adequate data protection safeguards.

We may disclose data if required by law or a competent authority.

4. Cookies

We use cookies required to keep you signed in and remember your country and language. Your country is inferred from your connection; we do not use your precise location.

On public pages (home, blog, legal pages, sign-in and sign-up) we use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to measure site usage in aggregate. It is not used inside the application dashboard and does not receive data about your sales or your buyers. You can block these cookies in your browser settings.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If your free trial or subscription ends and 7 days pass without an active plan, we delete your account data and that of your connected accounts, except your login details (email and password) and your sign-up details (name, phone number and country), which we keep so you can reactivate your plan. If you request deletion, we delete your data except what we must keep for legal or accounting obligations.

Your questions to the operations Assistant and its answers are kept for 30 days to provide support and improve the service; after that they are permanently deleted.

6. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures: encrypted connections, row-level access control in the database, per-operator permissions and encrypted sensitive keys. If we detect an incident affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.

7. Your rights

You can request access, correction, update or deletion of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to soporte@trueseller.software. Depending on your country, you may also file a complaint with your data protection authority (Argentina: Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, Law 25,326; Mexico: the competent authority under the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties; Brazil: ANPD, LGPD).

8. Minors

The service is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

If we materially change this policy, we will notify you by email or in the app.
